Many years ago I was working as a designer for a major defence business. For a short period of time I offered my
services as a freelancer to other industries. Although my plans eventually changed I acquired a pen plotter to
create engineering drawings but it was also able cut vinyl film.
While I do not have many pictures of work from those early days I still have that very same machine now over 30
years old!
I would occasionally use it serving whatever business I was employed by, primarily lettering their vehicles, crafting
a sign or banner. Today, any new work I would receive is usually accomplished by sending my vector files to
whatever sign or graphics shop is closest to the need for them cut and install.
